According to Hinduism, when a soul leaves its body encounters Iamarash (or Iama), the aforementioned God of Death and also of Karma. During this meeting, his servant Chitra Gupta reads a report on all the activities of that particular soul, which are recorded in a book called Agra-Samdhana (agra: 'beggining', sam-Dhana 'meeting, put it all together' ), a magical and unique book in which are written all our actions (good and bad) of all our lives. After listening to his servant, Iamarash sentences the soul to a new state of reincarnation.
